The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. As the first Product Marketing Manager at Spoiler Alert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our market presence, developing impactful product marketing strategies, and driving successful product launches. Reporting to the Head of Product, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization poised for significant growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Lead Product Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with the company's mission and goals.
- Product Positioning: Shape and refine our position in a new market, focusing on highlighting the unique value proposition of our products. Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Manage Product Launches: Create high-quality marketing collateral, including but not limited to product presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and sales enablement materials to ensure effective communication and maximum market impact of past and future product launches.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Utilize data and P&L results to craft compelling stories that resonate with our target audience.
- Customer Segmentation: Identify and understand key audience segments, tailoring marketing messages to address the specific needs and pain points of each segment.
- SaaS Expertise: Leverage your experience in positioning complex SaaS solutions to effectively communicate the technical aspects and benefits to enterprise audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, data analytics, design, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product marketing, with a focus on complex SaaS solutions for enterprise audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Creative mindset with a proactive & strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Passion for Spoiler Alert's mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPG industry experience is a plus.
- MBA is a plus.

- Spoiler Alert believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and equitably. We set our salary ranges using compensation data from startups at our stage. The salary range for this position is $115,000-150,000. Pay will be determined based on our assessment of your level and is not determined by location
