In this Product Marketing Manager role, you will have the opportunity to drive the company’s product marketing activities across our automotive, smart devices, and IoT offerings – defining key features, use cases, and communications strategies. This is a unique opportunity to own the go-to-market planning for product releases, thought leadership content, digital advertising, sales collateral and presentations. The ideal candidate offers a balance of strategy, creative ideation and execution.
In this role, you will:
- Create marketing strategies that differentiate our offerings, communicate value to our customers and lead to successful and measurable outcomes
- Develop product/use case/technology go-to-market plans for key products and services and oversee execution across channels
- Work with digital marketing and creative teams to ensure outbound messages are driving qualified business leads
- Collaborate with digital marketing and creative teams to inform them of key target customer needs and product/technology messaging and differentiation
- Partner with product and engineering teams to inform and understand key features and differentiators
- Partner with the business development team to provide education on products and capabilities, while hearing feedback from prospects and customers
- Perform market and competitive research and analysis, and develop strategies and messaging that strengthen SoundHound AI’s position in the market
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new product/feature needs and opportunities
- Develop sales enablement content to help sales team position the product and use cases
- Develop compelling external content including thought leadership videos, product case studies, website content, blogs, webinars, white papers, eBooks, and more
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have 8+ years of product marketing or marketing strategy experience, automotive experience a plus
- You have a BA or BS in Business, ideally with a concentration in marketing
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You can juggle projects simultaneously, working both independently and collaboratively across functions
- You have demonstrable domain expertise in any of the following: content generation, sales collateral, messaging strategy, go-to-market strategies, or digital marketing and targeting
- You have experience managing and developing marketing programs with clear data-driven results
- You gave experience managing and researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing
- You have a track record of building detailed plans and interacting with senior executive leadership
This role is available throughout the United States except for the following 17 states: AL, AK, DE, IA, KS, ME, MS, MO, NH, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WI, and WY. Employees within a 60-mile radius of our Santa Clara, CA office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these core days, this job allows for virtual/remote, hybrid, and in-office workplace setting options.
The salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience. In addition to salary, you will receive equity (SOUN stock), comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits.
