I'm stuck in a world of "I don't know what I don't know," and after 18 months as a founding PMM I'm expected to grow the marketing team and my remit has continued to expand, so I am desperate for some insight into how I can prioritize, expand my skills beyond the PMM practitioner work I'm comfortable with, and hopefully learn how to lead other marketing functions (I've never been a growth marketer?!).

Are you currently a founding or solo Product Marketer?
Yes. I'm the founding PMM and building the function from scratch
What excites you about working with an expert mentor and close group of peers?

I have all but written off "webinars" and "workshops" because the information is too generic, or too tailored to big companies with big budgets. Rarely does a piece of educational content feel authentic anymore. I finally feel like I've found something I can take things from: A small group of people in (actually) similar positions to me, who might be able to actually hear me out and recommend the next right thing.

What are the biggest challenges you currently face in your role?

The biggest challenge I have is that I'm a good product marketer, but I've never been taught how to be a leader. We are a series A, 15 person company with a lot of vague, open-ended questions to answer: Who is our actual ICP? Should we try to build product-led motions or go all in on human-led? Why are our retention numbers so low when most of our traffic is inbound? These are just a handful of the questions I'm grappling with daily, but I have no idea if what I'm doing is right. I could use some other minds, to at least not get too trapped in my own echo chamber.

If accepted, are you able to commit at least 3 hours per week to the program?
Yes
The initial investment is $4000 USD for the 3-month cohort and included benefits. Does this work for you?
Maybe. I need to explore expensing this with my company.
