Your Role
As the Product Marketing Manager at Clarius, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our products in key segments such as Aesthetics, Plastic Surgery, and Veterinary. You will lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies and marketing requirements tailored to these segments. Collaborating closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you will shape product strategy, refine messaging, and provide tools to our sales team and channel partners, ensuring they have the necessary resources for success.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Customer Champion: Serve as the primary advocate for customers within your assigned segments. Define personas, prioritize needs, and translate them into the product roadmap. Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
Market Expertise: Establish yourself as the go-to-authority in your assigned market segments. Develop a deep understanding of users, workflows, challenges, competitors, and potential solutions.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the Director of Product Marketing and other Clarius teams to develop comprehensive plans for your specific segments. Ensure that our solutions align with the most critical market needs.
Product and Marketing Requirements: Partner with cross-functional teams to define commercial product requirements and prioritize customer needs for the product roadmap.
Messaging and Positioning: Define product positioning and differentiated value propositions for use in marketing materials, sales training, and customer communications.
Product Readiness: Own the go-to-market plan for assigned segments and products, including market research, pricing, product packaging, promotions, customer validation, case study development and testimonials.
Product Launch: Lead product launches in collaboration with R&D, marketing, and sales teams. Connect campaigns to product capabilities and differentiators to maximize awareness and new customer acquisition.
Sales Enablement: Work closely with marketing to develop compelling collateral, campaigns and programs for our distribution and channel partners. Ensure they have up-to-date presentations, one-pagers, battle cards, case studies, white papers, and training materials to effectively communicate the value of our offering and overcome objections.
Key Opinion Leader Development: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and societies in your assigned segments. Enhance product credibility and influence within the market.
Product Adoption Strategies: Identify opportunities to increase product adoption and develop strategies to boost awareness and usage.
Drive Results: Approach all tasks with energy and focus on achieving bottom-line results and customer success. You must be detail-oriented, dynamic, and versatile.
Your Experience So Far:
- BA/BS degree in marketing or business.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management or related field in healthcare.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving business expansion.
- Prior involvement in medical imaging, point-of-care ultrasound, or Software as a Service (SaaS) sectors is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated capability as an independent initiator who can make sound decisions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Effective team player with a history of collaborating across departments, including regulatory, research and development (R&D), customer experience, sales, and marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at transforming complex concepts and customer feedback into actionable marketing strategies and clear messaging.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Skilled in fostering strong interpersonal relationships and leading effectively, even without formal authority.
- Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders, including executives and international audiences.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.
Location and Compensation:
While our headquarters is located in Vancouver, BC, we welcome candidates from any location within Canada. The salary range for this role is set at $105,000 to $130,000.
