Faraday
Worked for 9s Use this version: > My biggest challenges are the core challenges of building product marketing from scratch as a team of one. I need to sharpen segmentation and targeting so I can choose a clear initial audience instead of speaking too broadly. I also need to turn customer interviews, competitor research, and early feedback into stronger positioning and messaging that clearly explains the value of The Faraday Tree. I am working through launch planning, prioritization, pricing and packaging, customer education, and defining the metrics that will show whether the product is actually resonating. In particular, I need to establish a more disciplined feedback loop between customer insight, product decisions, messaging, and go-to-market execution. My goal is to build a repeatable product-marketing function, not simply run disconnected marketing activities. I want confidence that I am focusing on the work with the greatest impact, communicating the product clearly, and creating an approach that can scale as the platform develops.
I hope to leave with a practical product-marketing foundation that I can apply immediately to The Faraday Tree: a clearly defined initial audience, stronger positioning and messaging, a focused customer-research plan, and a realistic launch and measurement framework. I want to build a repeatable system for moving from customer insight to product priorities, campaigns, customer education, and measurable outcomes. I also want to make more confident decisions about what to pursue now, what to defer, and how to package and communicate the product as it develops. Most importantly, I want expert feedback and peer accountability while working on real decisions, not just theory. By the end of the program, I want to be operating with a clear product-marketing roadmap and the capability to sustain and improve it as the platform grows.
I am building The Faraday Tree, an education-first financial-protection platform that helps people understand their situation and next steps before they ever feel pressured into a product conversation. At this stage, I am effectively the founding product marketer as well as the founder. I want to join the PMM Foundry because I need a stronger, repeatable way to turn early customer insight into clear positioning, segmentation, messaging, prioritization, and launch decisions. I am not looking for generic marketing tactics. I need practical feedback on the real work of validating a high-trust product, deciding what to build and communicate first, and creating a product-marketing function that can grow with the platform. Because financial protection is a sensitive and regulated space, clarity and trust are not just brand preferences. They are core to the product. I would value experienced guidance and a peer group that will challenge my assumptions while I build something genuinely useful.
