Vespa.ai is seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager with a background in vector databases, search technology, machine learning, and recommendation systems, ideally from eCommerce, digital media, or financial services. Practical experience in product-led growth (PLG) techniques and web engagement is key. Working with the CMO, your role will involve developing and executing a targeted marketing strategy, experimentation, and optimization to propel the Vespa platform to market leadership.

Responsibilities
- Product Positioning: Define the value proposition and positioning for Vespa. Define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and develop targeted messaging for key buyer personas.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with product, sales, and marketing teams to set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to maximize pipeline development.
- Content Creation: Map the Buyer’s Journey to align content strategy. Produce/ source key marketing materials, including datasheets, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts.
- Customer Advocacy: Forge strong customer relationships to understand needs and create advocacy initiatives, including podcasts and conference presentations.
- Evangelism: Actively promote Vespa at conferences, meetups, and social media.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with essential resources, competitive intelligence, and sales tools. Conduct training sessions to enhance sales productivity.
- Brief Analysts and Influencers: Regularly update Industry Analysts about Vespa's product roadmaps.
- Customer Insights: Collect and analyze customer feedback to refine product messaging, features, and overall user experience.
- Web Engagement: Collaborate with the web team to boost traffic and conversions through SEO, optimized messaging, user experience, buyer journey, conversion tactics, Google Analytics, and tracking actions like downloads and form submissions.
Requirements
- Strong grasp of vector databases and machine learning principles. Candidates without this domain experience will not be considered.
- Proven background in product marketing within a B2B product-led startup environment.
- Experience with web/digital marketing best practices.
- Exceptional in both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
- Effective in working with marketing, product management, and sales teams.
- Aptitude for synthesizing information from diverse sources into coherent strategies.
- High motivation, urgency, and adaptability in a dynamic team setting.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Self-driven, remote worker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
