The RoleWe’re looking for Augie’s first product marketing hire to oversee the creation & distribution of marketing campaigns for the Augie product across the marketing funnel. This person will shape product marketing campaigns & product launches that target prospective & existing customers and align all product marketing copy with our brand values. In this role, you’ll work closely with our product management & design teams as well as our marketing advisors.
We’re looking for someone who can bring awareness through content such as social media, copywriting, and blogs; build trust and create conversation with potential customers through events, campaigns, and specific calls to action, and convert potential customers into paying customers through consistent communications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who loves the early stages of product & company development; has worked in B2B SaaS; has an interest in AI & content creation and has seen what great product marketing can deliver.
Responsibilities
- Lead product marketing content development inclusive of product launches & ongoing product growth & adoption campaigns
- Manage product marketing campaigns end to end inclusive of determining a project plan to map out when this content will be released and overseeing a team who will create the desired content
- Develop a solid understanding of our customer persona and continue to refine this understanding over time
- Analyze sales data and channel information; then create plans to improve product growth using marketing and sale techniques
- Own our positioning statements and messaging; this source material is used by marketing to generate public-facing marketing collateral
- Develop, refine & hone Augie’s product storytelling vision and voice
- Educate vendor and/or other team members on current Augie product messaging
- Serve as marketing’s subject matter expert on the product, our customer, the market & our competitors
- Evolve our market segmentation for our product offering.
- Write compelling copy for different collateral types and audiences
- Represent the company at all times and with virtually any audience to explain the customer-led benefits of the product line

Requirements****Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of foundational marketing and campaign management experience
- Exceptional project management skills and organizational
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to write product marketing copy
- The ability to analyze relevant information and make informed decisions
- The ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects
- Deep understanding of market trends & product lifecycles in B2B SaaS, specifically video content creation
- High degree of empathy for others’ perspectives
- Experience designing customer promotions
- Nice to have: Fluency with web development languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Nice to have: Proficiency with customer research techniques and/or product design techniques based on hands-on experience
