Product Marketing Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem to join our team. If you are a results-driven marketer with a passion for e-commerce and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you!
In this role you will have a high level of autonomy and will also work with a highly ambitious cross-functional team across Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success to build hyper-growth foundations for Platter. You will be focused on strengthening the Platter brand, building a strong demand machine, and generating high-quality pipeline for the product.

What You’ll be Working On
- Create product marketing strategies using compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with Shopify merchants and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Create high-quality marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product documentation, case studies, social assets, and blog posts to support sales and customer success efforts.
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop documentation to educate users how to use Platter’s products effectively.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Design thoughtful and effective onboarding flows to turn Platter users into long-term customers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target audience, including their needs, pain points, and buying behaviors.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, content marketing, webinars, events, and partnerships, to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics and performance data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, and use insights to optimize future efforts.
About You
- At least 2+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on the Shopify ecosystem or e-commerce industry.
- You are scrappy, pragmatic, solution-oriented, and have grit.
- Have a bias for action and building processes to achieve high-output.
- The ability to drive outcomes autonomously and thrives on seeing an idea from start to finish.
- Knowledge of project management frameworks.
- You will bring plenty of ideas! We want this role to challenge, innovate and drive growth.
- Won’t require coaching or mentorship on the basics.
- Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to explore new ideas and approaches.
- Always staying up-to-date on industry trends, evolving strategies, and emerging technologies within the Shopify ecosystem
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies that drive business results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Able to work at least 9-5 PM EST.
