About the job
Neon One is quickly growing and we’re looking for a new member to join the Marketing Team as part of the Product Marketing function. The Product Marketing Manager is an integrated role that works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams. You’ll work on messaging and positioning our growing product suite to help craft the product story that is told through sales enablement, product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer success.
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert to the sales and marketing team on our solutions, value proposition, and competitive position. Your work will bind our product strategy to the tactics driving sales and marketing to achieve results. You are a skilled communicator with a unique ability to translate features into clear and concise benefits that resonate with our target audience. You masterfully distill complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand, compelling content. Your #1 passion is our customers and raising their voices to help evangelize the product, both internally and externally.
The Exciting Part (Your 80s: 80% of your creative focus):
- Lead competitive intelligence program to inform positioning and directly support sales* Collaborate on win/loss analysis and conduct W/L interviews to strengthen the sales process and product positioning* Create sales enablement materials and tools that effectively convey the value of the product to increase win rates* Partner with Demand Gen and Content Marketing teams to produce content/programs that include customer stories, webinars, product sheets, product videos, thought leadership pieces, etc.* Collaborate with product management to conduct pricing and packaging research* Maintain an up-to-date buyer’s journey and have a deep understanding of the buyer’s journey and map buyer decisions/information needs at each stage* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customer representatives to schedule and conduct informational interviews to inform new customer case studies* Work with other members of the Marketing team to write and design insightful collateral involving customer stories
The Expected Part (Your 20s: role responsibilities and opportunities to enhance)
- Minimum 3 years of product marketing experience for B2B SaaS products* Strong communication and analytic skills* Experience running marketing programs across the customer lifecycle* Proven record of crafting messaging, positioning and product collateral
