Job overview
A PMM at Aster is the storyteller-in-chief for our products, translating the value proposition into a compelling narrative that resonates with our target audience. Unlike a product manager, the PMM collaborates closely with the product management team to align strategic product objectives with a message that captivates customers. This role goes beyond traditional marketing; it's about crafting experiences and driving perceptions that lead to product success.
You will have the opportunity to have a major impact on our company’s marketing voice and also product direction. Working closely with our product team, you'll understand the product and its value proposition, conduct market/customer research, provide feedback to the product team, and curate the voice for the product outside of the company.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, continuously testing and refining to ensure maximum impact.
- Be the external voice for the product, effectively communicating how it addresses user pain points and solves real problems.
- Work closely with the marketing team(or an external marketing agency) to create materials showcasing product features and benefits.
- Manage the team’s product marketing campaigns and negotiate budgets to execute our product marketing vision at scale.
Market Research and Opportunity Identification:
- Dive deep into the competitive landscape, identifying gaps and uncovering new product opportunities in the finance management and book-keeping industry.
- Conduct user research to gain insights that influence product features, user experience, and nomenclature. Make data-driven decisions to refine strategies.
Brand Development:
- Collaboratively with the rest of the team to establish and enhance the brand identity.
Persona Development and Sales Enablement:
- Create detailed customer personas to guide marketing strategies.
- Lay the groundwork for training sales teams on effectively articulating the product’s benefits to prospects.
Metrics and Optimization
- Collaborate with the product team to define goals and metrics for product launches.
- Measure and improve the product's Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Evaluate and adjust pricing strategies for optimal market positioning. Utilise data-driven insights for optimization.
Leadership and Initiative
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in driving marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Take the lead in running experiments, customer promotions, and reward campaigns to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in product marketing or a related role.
