In This Role You WillA Product Marketing Manager at Actabl designs, develops, and executes marketing plans and strategies for products in conjunction with marketing executives and sales teams. Researches and identifies customer and market trends and influences. Manages and oversees product launches.
Typical Functions****Product Strategy and Go-to-Market Act as product, sales, and customer experience partner leading vision for overall Actabl brand and products and informing marketing strategy and sales approach. The product marketing manager works to create and deliver a comprehensive framework for messaging hierarchy among brands, products, and features. Establishes priorities and calendar for product marketing, aligns them to key target audiences, and informs calendar for marketing. Works with marketing strategy, content, and digital team to create multi-channel GTM for brand, products, and features.
Content and Thought Leadership ChampionWorks with the content team and internal and external SMEs to create content based on narratives and themes around product pain points. Has active involvement in shaping content then works to get content created and into the market. Uses performance metrics to inform improvements.
Develops and maintains consistent, clearly articulated product messaging and value propositions across all channels. Work with customer stakeholders and internal/industry data experts to build and organize proof points to support solution, product, and company value propositions.
Develop a deep understanding of our customers and how we help them. Be the expert on the market, the available solutions, and Actabl’s unique value proposition.
Collaborative SupporterDevelops, organizes, and socializes tools and content to support sales and marketing efforts including one-sheeters, sales deck, features overview, and training documentation. Work cross-functionally to own the go-to-market strategy for new product features and partnerships. Turn complex technical concepts into clear, jargon-free narratives.
Be proactive in seeking and incorporating feedback. Ask questions with curiosity and confidence to better inform work.
Competitive and Customer Intelligence SynthesizerOrganizes, maintains, and socializes competitive and customer intelligence and proactively socializes it within the organization.
Project ManagerWorks independently and cooperatively on multiple projects simultaneously. Utilizes project management software to communicate and manage timelines, coordinate feedback, and call out blockers. Works to meet defined SLAs and timelines for projects and communicate updates proactively to stakeholders. Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve design capabilities. Update and maintain internal databases.
- Has 5+ years of experience in marketing with 3+ years focus in product marketing for B2B software
- Hospitality industry experience a plus
- Shows success in launching new products and features into the market
- Enjoys working remotely within a geographically distributed team
- Flexibility to travel to company on-sites and events 3-4 times/year
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Is an exceptional writer and communicator
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Natural curiosity and eagerness to improve
- Pragmatic Marketing framework knowledge a plus
